APBA is the public body responsible for the management of the Algeciras Bay port complex, including the port of Tarifa. The authority operates under the Spanish State Ports and Merchant Navy Act and reports administratively to Puertos del Estado.

Independent petroleum products storage installation supporting the regional bunker fuel supply chain and providing third-party storage capacity.
