Editorial Inquiries
For corrections, submissions, citation queries, and editorial collaboration relating to our reference publications.
We welcome correspondence from readers, researchers, port industry practitioners, and academic colleagues. Inquiries that fall within our editorial scope — the ports of the Iberian-Mediterranean corridor, with emphasis on the Strait of Gibraltar — are read and answered as editorial capacity permits.
Categories of inquiry
Corrections and factual queries
If you have identified a factual error in any of our publications — incorrect data, misattribution, outdated organisational information, or terminology requiring revision — please write to us. We treat corrections with priority and aim to acknowledge submissions within a working week. Verified corrections are incorporated into the relevant publication, with the change recorded in the editorial notes for that publication.
Citation and academic queries
Students, academic researchers, and authors of industry publications who wish to cite our work or to inquire about source materials are welcome to write. We can typically provide assistance with citation form, with the dating of statistical references, and with the disambiguation of source material between editions.
Submissions and editorial collaboration
We do not actively commission external editorial contributions. However, where a researcher or industry practitioner has produced reference-grade material on a port within our editorial scope, and wishes to discuss publication or collaboration, we are open to correspondence. Please describe the proposed contribution in the initial inquiry; we will respond if the proposal aligns with our editorial direction.
Commercial inquiries
We do not accept commercial advertising, sponsored content, or paid placement. We do not respond to commercial inquiries other than to confirm this policy.

Postal correspondence is read and responded to but may take longer to process than electronic inquiries. For time-sensitive matters, electronic inquiry is preferred.
Response time
Editorial inquiries are typically acknowledged within a working week. Detailed responses, particularly those requiring factual verification or coordination with originating sources, may take longer. We do not maintain a press desk or commercial response operation; inquiries from journalists are welcome but should be made on the same editorial basis as other correspondence.
Reference materials
If your inquiry relates to a specific publication, please cite the publication, edition, section, and URL in your correspondence. This assists rapid review and accurate response.
